Want to start racing BMX?

How do I get started racing BMX?

  • Best way to get started is just to come out to the track.
Try out a Wednesday night practice and you can go at your pace and get a feel for the track, meet new people willing to help, and have a great time.  Once you’ve tried a practice or two you’ll be ready to race.

  • Is there an age limit? No, we have riders as young as 2-3 and as old as 50+.

All that is required is that they can ride a bike without training wheels. When they race they are grouped with riders in (or as close to) their age and skill level.

There are three skill levels: Novice, Intermediate, and Expert.

What equipment is needed?

  • You need long pants, long sleeve shirt, closed toe shoes, and a helmet
(we have some loaners if you don't have one).

  • Be sure you bike does not have pegs.

  • Be sure your bike has brakes.

  • Bring your bike...bring the one you have that you're used to in order to try out BMX - no need for expensive gear to start out.

Where can I find more information?

Need lessons on racing BMX?

  • Attend a clinic with Jordan Miranda. Jordan will teach you the skills you should know as a beginner to help you succeed.
